Lizzie Twist

Leslie and I know that God has indeed placed us together to design and create. We have sold our clothes through word of mouth, home shows, our children being seen on the street, and most importantly, through return customers. This is our greatest joy knowing that people appreciate and like what we do and trust us to sew for them again. God has been pulling on us, and we are ready to take our business to another level. We are being very prayerful and waiting to see what God will do next for us. In the meantime though, we have both been busy sewing and creating some winter/holiday designs, and we can't wait to show you what we have done. While Leslie's youngest daughter, Merritt, and Cathy's youngest son, Ben, have been the muses for our creativity, our latest collaboration has been a name for our business that hints at our philosophy and sense of fun-----Lizzie Twist! Every name we have come up with has never been available as a brand or there was some other hindrance to our using the name. We haven't found any hindrances to this name and we love it. Leslie looked up the Biblical meaning of Lizzie, which is taken from Elizabeth, and it means "God's promise"!!! Twist means to weave together tightly into one strand! We know that this business was borne out of prayer and God's blessings, so the meanings of Lizzie Twist are very prophetic. It also has a fun and fresh sound to it, so Lizzie Twist we are!!! We thank each and every one of you for your support in the past, and we hope we can create some wonderful memories for you in the future.
